We bought this from a local appliance store, not a big box store and we are glad that we did. The salesman was obviously a long term employee with lots of experience. Very pleased with his assistance. We paid for delivery and placement of the new fridge and removal of the old one. Well worth the extra cost as the delivery personnel were from the appliance store and very familiar with maneuvering the large appliance. We found that the fridge has plenty of space and appreciate the full size meat drawer and the convenience of having ample freezer space. Our only wish is that it does not have a "door open" alarm.

Just what I was looking for!

I have had this refrigerator for only a week but so far it is exactly what I was hoping for. It is roomy and the lights inside are bright and I can easily access anything. I have the ice maker in the freezer that makes smaller ice cubes than my old refrigerator but I find I like them better. There is no external water or ice dispenser on the door and I much prefer the new sleeker door. It looks so much nicer and I don't miss the water dispenser at all. I would definitely recommend this refrigerator if you don't want the dispenser in the door.

Love the deli drawer

First time I had French Doors. My older refrigerator was 25 cu ft and this is 26. Because of the smaller shelves on the 2 doors, I think my shelf space is smaller. We replaced a constantly malfunctioning Samsung with similar features a month ago. Have a lot more confidence in this Whirlpool that it will function without repeated service calls and expense. We like the large crisper drawer but are still figuring out how to use the reduced shelf space vs the same size Samsung. Also, the Whirlpool has an obstruction in the top that reduces space for tall bottles. But, all in all, we're happy with it and will be more happy if it functions a long time with no maintenance.

Bought this applicable after our 18 year old Maytag fridge quit unexpectedly. The new fridge has the French doors which I really like since it gives us more door room by our island that our single door did in the last. The wider size fit great and gives us about 5 cu. ft. More storage space. The ice maker is a little slower than we would like but will do. The height in the front is a little but of a challenge with the cabinet above the fridge but workable. Bought this 3 months ago to replace a Samsung 20 cu. ft. The split adjustable glass shelves make the refrigerator extremely functional. There shelves on the doors are adjustable and accommodate any size bottle. The bottom tray in the refrigerator is wonderful. Am able to see lunch meat at a glance instead of them being stuffed in a tiny shelf drawer and easy to access. The ice bin is at the back of the freezer section which means bending over a little more to get the ice. The light switch on the freezer section sticks and it needs to be touched to get the light to come on.

Needs repair, heavy frosting over in freezer compa

I am waiting to see how the refeigerator cools as the season changes. So far we have to keep it 2 levels higher than recommended to keep the temp below 41. It seems to fluate between 36-41. It isn't opened often as only two people are in the home. I am debating calling to see if this is normal. I am not real thrilled with the giant Whirlpool emblem on the top right door. I am a person who likes clean lines and no decoration. It would be better to have it on the bottom or inside the door would be best. I gave it 3 stars because of the good price through the friends and family site.

good value lots of room

this refrigerator is really nice, it was not very expensive and is very functional. the freezer on the bottom is very roomy any the french doors make access very easy to the fridge. love the bright L.E.D. lights

Huge, customizable and functional!

Great value for the price, beautiful fridge with LOTS of storage. Love the lower freezer as the smaller kids aren't getting into everything at their level anymore! The upper shelves are completely adjustable split into 2 columns- perfect for tall pitchers on one side, cans of soda on the other, and everything else in between.

very loud and noisy

Please do not buy this refrigerator. I bought it 5 weeks ago. It has a very loud humming noise- very distracting when reading or watching TV. I did contact them,they never responded
