Very satisfied with my new glass top stove and oven. Heats up quickly and bakes evenly. I like the fact that the oven light comes on when you open the door. This is the way all ovens should be, in my opinion; but the last oven I owned you had to turn the light on each time. The only feature about this appliance I don't like is the deceivingly shallow drawer at the bottom.

Nice Stove

I got this stove a month ago. My previous stove I only owned for 3 years. I accidentally spilled sugar on the burner while making a desert. It pitted it so bad it looked awful on the glass top. But the real reason I got rid of it is because I have a metal handled pan and it scratched the back of the stove when it was pushed back to far. I was really hoping this stove had the hard enamel coating. But I only gave it a 4 star because just like the last one it just has a sprayed paint white on it. While putting it into place my husbands wedding band made a scratch in the white paint. They just don't make the nice enamel stoves anymore. Other then that issue I Love the stove itself. It heats up well threw the glass top and the oven heats up really fast, which my last one did not.

Love this stove!

This is the first stove I've had in a long time that I actually like! The oven temperature is accurate, I like the handles which make opening the oven and the bottom drawer easy, but the best feature is how easy the stove top is to clean. I've had this stove a month and I haven't had to scrub the top like earlier stoves - it just wipes clean. Finally a stove that is user friendly! Thank you, Maytag!

Looks good but I'm disappointed!

I had a Whirlpool range for the last 13 years and decided to go with a MAYTAG this time. So disappointed in how long it takes for all burners to heat up. And the oven, my Whirlpool would be at 350 in 6 minutes. This oven takes 12 minutes to reach 350 degrees. Really disappointed in this. The drawer is a total waste; can hardly fit anything in it and it is so flimsy; should have made it a warming drawer. The one thing that is better than the Whirlpool I had, the oven is larger - I do like that.

This is the first new stove I have ever had and I am 52 years old. I loved the looks, the size of the oven and the extra large window in the door. The ceramic top is wonderful! I love the fact that nothing can fall under the burners. I recently became disabled, so money now is tight and wanted to get something that will last me, as will probably be the last one I purchase. My only regret is not having the funds to get the matching refrigerator! I also purchased the over the stove microwave, which I also love!! It is large and being at that height, helps with back pain because I don't have to bend as much. The last point that was a big purchasing point, It was a Maytag! I have never owned one, and now I do!

Disappointed, actually

I have to start by saying that I am a loyal Maytag customer. My washer, dryer and fridge will all celebrate their 22nd anniversary next month! I even ordered my new stove online without actually checking it out live and in person knowing the Quality I've come to expect from them. I should have checked it out first. While I like the options (timer bake and self-cleaning are mandatory for me), the stainless steel handle, oven size and sealed element, I don't like the cooktop or the burner controls. The cooktop seems to already be discoloring and getting scratched. The thing that actually bothers me the most is that every time I touch it, the side panels "pop" like they're bending. It is a combination of that, the cooktop, the burner knobs and a couple inconveniences with the control panel that made me realize I'm just not in love. It was merely infatuation with what I thought my newest Maytag would be. I will be exchanging it with a different brand (probably another Frigidaire that only needed replacement due to hubby dropping his coffee mug on the cooktop). I went and actually met the potential replacements. If it wasn't $329 to replace only the cooktop on my 14-yr-old stove, we'd have done that instead of buying a new one.

So far I am very pleased. This is the first smooth top I have had and I am trying not to hurt it. It is difficult to clean, even using the special cleaner. I am a clean freak. I am also apprehensive about trying to pop corn on it or sliding pots/pans/skillets on it. I did not realize how good a baker I am, my last oven cooked very uneven and I just thought it was me. NOPE, this really has made a great improvement on my baking skills.

Black glass top range

I have had the range for about a month now. First thing I found out is that the bottom drawer is way to small. With my old stove I had all my pots and pans plus the lids in it. With this new one I can barely fit a couple of lids. I do love the way the stove functions, that part is great but it is very hard to keep it looking clean and nice. Black shows everything. That is on me though, I kind of knew it would do that. Still love the stove though.

A nice addition to my kitchen

I have been really pleased with this range. The glass stove top looks so nice and is easy to clean. I love not having elements in the bottom of the oven. It makes it so much easier to clean as does aqua lift cleaning feature. The oven itself is spacious enough to cook a very large turkey with room to spare. I have been quite happy with this purchase.

I bought this range about two months ago and have been very pleased with how it works. I love the cooktop, and the oven bakes things perfectly.My only (relatively minor) complaint is that the storage drawer underneath is way too small! I've had to find other places for almost all of the pans I used to keep under the stove. It's only deep and wide enough to store one regular-sized and one small-sized frying pan side by side. If I try to stack anything, the drawer won't close.

This is an attractive appliance and has a commercial Quality feel to it. Mase in the USA and the 10 year warranty is a big plus. Elements heat quickly.My only small concern is the small seal around the edge of the stove. It is a dirt catcher and takes some effort to clean out.

Great Range for a great price!

We weren't looking to buy a range just yet, but the old range died. We typically do a lot of research at home prior to purchasing any appliance, but time was of the essence. This range met all our requirements; multiple stove top cooking options, roomy oven space, clean lines and the self-cleaning oven with aqua lift technology was an added bonus. Everyone in our family cooks and everyone is very happy with how the range functions.

GREAT product by Maytag!!

There is not one thing about this range that I do not absolutely love. It is easy to keep the surface clean. The burners are the very best at staying at the appropriate temps. The oven --- that big beautiful oven - don't think my turkey has ever been better!! Would definitely be looking at the Maytag appliances as my other KitchenAid's wear out. Besides that - I like the TV commercial!!! Only thing I would change would be the yellow lighting...

Love This Stove

Bought this stove 3 weeks ago and just love it. The burners heat up so fast as well as the oven. The oven temperature is very accurate too. Highly recommend. Very easy to use and view dials.

Perfect Range

This was the first time we owned a glass top range. We really liked the idea of having a flat surface with the burners not visible. It performs great and is easy to clean. We love the over sized window for the oven. Looks great with our other Maytag appliances.

I purchased this product a month ago, and my final verdict is still on hold. I'm rating it a 3 for now until I've had more usage. There have been quite a few negative reviews regarding the glass cooktop. I agree that it's harder to keep clean, but with a little TLC, it looks great and does a great job. From what I saw during my shopping trip, all the major appliance companies are using this style of cooktop. My one concern is the pots slide too easily on the stovetop. I've ended up taking pots off the cooktop in order to stir, before putting them back on the burner. My other concern at this time is the oven temperature. I'm finding that I have to adjust cooking times, and in some cases, the oven temperature to cook certain items. Once I get used to it, I'm sure I'll be pleased. I have noticed that the internal temperature does not reach the set temperature when the display says it does. Usually takes a few more minutes to get up the to set temperature. As for the people who are giving negative marks for the size of the bottom storage drawer. What do you expect? The only other option would be to downsize the oven size, and I don't see that as an option. The drawer is sturdy, and although smaller, it fits my needs.

All that was expected

I purchased this oven for the intent of more internal space to be able to cook multiple things at the same time. This oven definitely delivered on internal size. The cook top gets hot very quickly and the oven, overall, has a lot of great features and looks very sleek in the stainless and black combo. They cleaning option that it comes with works great and is very easy!
