So quiet you think it is not working

This dishwasher was purchased to replace a "high end" model from another manufacturer. The old machine was only three years old when it stopped working and a repair could not be made. We are very happy that we picked the KitchenAid as a replacement. It is much quieter and does a better job of getting the dishes clean. We would not hesitate to recommend KitchenAid!

It just works and that's what I need.

Mostly buy Whirlpool Gold line of appliances. This is my first KitchenAid. Matches very well in our kitchen. Quieter than the last also. That's a big bonus. All the basic features (which is what we mostly use) work very well. My only minus is the silverware tray is in the bottom rack rather than on the door like our last one. It does take up some space we could use for dishes. Very minor nit.

It is incredibly quiet, but takes a much longer time than the one replaced, also a Kitchen Aid. That's a fair trade-off, and it does a good washing job. It should have a rinse only cycle like the last one for rinsing now, washing maybe tomorrow.

I am extremely satisfied with my choice of a KitchenAid dishwasher. I always do a lot of homework before making a major purchase. I read consumer report talk to friends and read reviews online I was also very comfortable with the KitchenAid name because I am very pleased with the mixer that I have owned for more than 10 years. we bought this for use in a fire station, and the first one didn't drain or pump or work correctly. Looked up reviews and found a lot of people having the same issues. Bad Kitchen Aid Product

M# KUDS301XWH1 - I'm very disappointed with the quality of this kitchen aid dishwasher. I have had two majior failures, the first being a failed pump and the second being a total electrical failure in the unit. There is power to the washer, but no function of the washer what so ever. Way to many problems with kitchen aid in this short time period. Back to washing by hand.

Problem with upper rack- broken 2 times in 4 years

The dishwasher performance is fine. My issue is there is a part in the upper rack that has broken 2 times in less than 4 years. The first time it was within a year so Kitchen Aid sent a repair person. It now broke the week before Easter. Kitchenaid CS stated they would mail me a part overnight and 2 weeks later I still wait and can not use the upper rack of my appliance. It is not even 4 years old!!! I am beyond disgusted and will never purchase another Kitchen Aid dishwasher again. My Lesser expensive prior machine lasted 14 years with zero issues. This item does not live up to quality I have always known to be for Kitchenaid

sleek design, lots of features

Much more quiet than my last washer. Very attractive. I like the idea of reusing water from the prior final rinse to save energy and resources, but I wonder if that could make the washer smell mildewy eventually. I've only owned the machine a couple of weeks, so it's too soon to know. Takes much longer to complete a wash cycle than my old machine, but that is part of the energy savings process. However, there is a fast/1 hr wash setting if needed. Prior reviews complained about the top rack falling out. So far I have not had that problem, but I haven't attempted to adjust the rack height.

So far really good

This is my second KitchenAid Dishwasher. This one is so quiet and seems like it has so much room. Does a great job of cleaning my dishes.
